MECSPE 2021

Last year the MECSPE was canceled in a few days before its opening due to the Covid-19 emergency. All our enthusiasm looked to disappeared but in reality it had been put aside in order to be ready for the next edition. The next edition of MECSPE is finally upon us, we...

Our first IAC was a success!

From October 14 to 18, Benozzi Engineering participated in the 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2024). This was the first edition held in Milan in 75 years, and the fifth in Italy, 12 years after the last edition held in Naples.

A RECORD-BREAKING EDITION

IAC is a major global space event, bringing together over 8,000 experts, including industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers. This year’s theme was “Responsible Space for Sustainability,” focusing on how space exploration can support Earth’s sustainability through technology and collaboration.

The Milan IAC was a record-breaking edition: more than 530 exhibitors, over 11,200 delegates from 120 countries, 3,000 people joined the online streaming, and 3,500 people participated in the public open day. These numbers made this edition of the IAC the largest ever.

The 2025 edition will be held in Sydney, Australia.

THANKS TO THE REGIONAL INNOVATION NETWORK AIR

We were at the RIR AIR booth, sponsored by the Veneto Region. This was our company’s first event as exhibitors in the space sector. We brought our expertise in high-precision mechanical processing, and experience acquired over 50 years of history. Another important credential is our participation in the ELT (The Extremely Large Telescope) project.

THE STRENGTH OF OUR AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE BU

Our Aerospace and Defense Business Unit has been EN 9100 certified since 2017. By participating in IAC 2024, we confirmed our desire and commitment to grow in the space sector as a reliable partner, not only in precision mechanical processing but also by offering a full service: from raw materials to finished products, including assemblies. To this end, in our new facility, we plan to build two clean rooms to carry out assemblies and packaging in a contamination-free environment.

See you on the next mission!
