In 2016, Benozzi Engineering decided to face a new challenge: to achieve the ISO 13485 certification and get a prominent position in the medical sector, especially in the surgical instrument field. By overcoming numerous obstacles and implementing a state-of-the-art quality management system, the company successfully achieved this ambitious goal in 2017.

In the Medical Business Unit, we produce surgical instruments used in traumatology and orthopaedics. These instruments and equipment interact with implants, enabling cutting, prosthesis insertion, and measurement of bone structures during surgery. We use dedicated machines and warehouses to prevent cross-contamination with other materials. We maintain strict hygiene and quality standards. The dedicated medical metrology room is equipped with cutting-edge tools for precise, accurate control using both contact and optical measuring devices. The ISO 13485 proves our commitment to total quality in the medical field.
